Marvel Stadium has been allocated 43 ‘home and away’ matches in total including three Friday night matches, thirteen Saturday night games and four triple header weekends.

The venue’s season opener will be a Friday night blockbuster between Western Bulldogs and Collingwood on Friday 20th March.

There are a number of highlights in the draw for all football fans with a number of notable games scheduled to be played at the stadium.

Following on from previous years, we will again play host to the annual Good Friday match between North Melbourne and Western Bulldogs in Round 4. In Round 2 Carlton will host their first ever AFLW and AFL double-header at Marvel Stadium. The Saints will also host Richmond for Maddie’s Match in Round 3 and play Sydney for the annual Pride Game here at Marvel Stadium in Round 15.

The days and times for the two Round 23 games will, as in previous seasons, be determined later in the season.

Every AFL team will play at the stadium at least once, with the stadium’s tenant clubs seeing a great spread of games amongst teams.

St Kilda (10 games), North Melbourne (7 games), Western Bulldogs (9 games), Essendon (7 games), Carlton (6 games).

Collingwood, Hawthorn and Richmond will also play home games at the stadium.
