Maddie's Match 2017

Marvel Stadium will play host to ‘Maddie’s Match’ on Saturday 8 July when St Kilda run out against Richmond for their round 16 match.

In support of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, St Kilda players will be sporting a special tri-coloured guernsey that will replace the signature red strip with a purple one.

Maddie’s Vision was established in 2015 following the passing of Maddie, sister of St Kildas’ Nick Riewoldt and cousin of Tigers’ forward, Jack Riewoldt.

“Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome is a condition that often effects young people and stops them from being able to produce blood cells and platelets every day,” Nick said.

Maddie’s Match aims to raise funds and awareness for Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes and to date has raised more than $1.6 million and granted more than $1 million towards research projects.

“Football fans, time and time again, have proven to be extremely generous and supportive and I have no doubt that will be the same this year at Maddie’s Match.

“As a family, we are committed to continuing Maddie’s mission to help others who are fighting this horrible disease.”

This year, you can support Maddie’s Vision by purchasing Maddie’s Membership. For $50 your membership will include two tickets to Level 1 reserved seating to the Maddie’s Match at Marvel Stadium, Maddie’s Vision pin and shoelaces along with a membership core pack. Most importantly, your membership will automatically include a $5 donation to Maddie’s Vision.

Not only are you helping to spread awareness about this disease and keeping Maddie’s legacy alive, you will also receive a personally signed letter from Nick and go in the draw to win lunch with him.
