Accessing the Stadium:

• Accessible access to the external concourse is available via La Trobe Street (Gates 6-8), Harbour Esplanade (Gates 8-9) & Bourke Street (Gates 1-4 & 9). Stadium maps are available HERE.
• Patrons with accessible needs looking for car parking are advised to book a space HERE, and advise a car park attendant upon arrival that an accessible space is required.
• Mobility Aids such as wheelchairs, mobility scooters, crutches, walking frames, and walking canes are permitted inside the Stadium, but they must be stowed safely under your seat to avoid blocking access paths. If a Mobility Aid does not fit under a seat, cloaking services are free of charge and available at Guest Services, located Gate 1 (Aisle 3) and Gate 5 (Aisle 36).

On-site car parking:

• Accessible car parking is booked via Ubi Park.
• Please note, patrons do not have to indicate via Ubi Park if they need an accessible car-park, but will require a disabled sticker to park in these spaces.
• Please notify car park attendant on Event Day and they will help allocate you to an accessible spot.
• Alternatively, disabled patrons can be dropped off at Bourke Street or Harbour Esplanade where there are external lifts from ground to concourse level. View Stadium Map HERE.

Wheelchair services:

• Wheelchair services / escorts are available to take patrons to and from their seat, but please note that wheelchairs cannot remain with patrons during an event. 
• If a wheelchair is needed post event, patrons can organise for a staff member to meet them to assist with exiting the Stadium. 
• If an escort or wheelchair service is required, patrons are to ask a customer service team member upon arrival at the Stadium, or are to visit Guest Services located inside Gates 1 (Level 1, Aisle 3) and 5 (Level 1, Aisle 36).

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple tool for you to voluntarily share that you have a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent – and that you may need a helping hand, understanding, or more time in shops, at work, on transport, or in public spaces. Marvel Stadium supports the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower through staff training and awareness, but please be advised that Sunflower lanyards are not available for purchase at the Stadium.

Parent Room facilities include a baby change table, child-friendly play panel, a microwave and television, as well as both private and public feeding areas. Any person entering the Stadium with a bag or package may be asked to consent to an inspection. Patrons refusing an inspection will be refused entry to the Stadium.

As per the Conditions of Entry, patrons are encouraged to travel without bags but, if a bag is necessary, it should be no larger than A3 size.

Marvel Stadium is a cashless venue. No ATMs are available on site.

Enter via car park entrances on Bourke Street (A & B) and Wurundjeri Way (D & E). Please note, the car park has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.

A Changing Places facility is available at Marvel Stadium on both event and non-event days.

It is located at Gate 1 Guest Services, Level 1 - Aisle 3 and is accessible 24/7.

Access to this facility requires an MLAK key at all times.

St John Ambulance personnel are on-site for all events. First Aid Rooms are located on every level. Locations:

Please be advised that medical and/or safety personnel will record any treatment(s) carried out, and if additional treatment is required, will make the necessary arrangements.

Automated defibrillator units are located around the Stadium for use by all in the case of an emergency. First Aid staff will also carry automated de-fib units in all response kits when attending to an incident.

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it is not there

Globally 1 in 6 of us live with a disability. That is approximately 1.3 billion people.

But while some of us experience a disability that is visible, many have a non-visible condition or experience a combination of both visible and non-visible conditions. These disabilities can be temporary, situational or permanent. They can be neurological, cognitive and neurodevelopmental as well as physical, visual, auditory and include sensory and processing difficulties. They can also be respiratory as well as chronic health conditions such as arthritis and diabetes, chronic pain and sleep disorders.

Making the invisible visible

As diverse as these conditions are, so are your individual access needs and the barriers you face in your daily life. So you can opt to wear the Sunflower to discreetly be seen in shops, at work, on transport, or in public spaces.

Sunflower at Marvel Stadium

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower was established in 2016, with Marvel Stadium officially becoming a Sunflower-accredited venue in 2025. 

Marvel Stadium supports the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower through staff training and awareness, but please be advised that Sunflower lanyards are not available for purchase at the Stadium.

Accessibility and Inclusion at Marvel Stadium

Marvel Stadium is also in partnership with KultureCity, with two on-site sensory rooms and complimentary sensory bags available for hire on event days.

In addition for Special Events such as concerts, Marvel Stadium offers a ‘Chill Hub’, an additional low sensory space located in Danver’s Room (Level 2, Aisle 25), as well as an additional space with bench seating for GA arena patrons who may have accessible or sensory needs (subject to availability per event). Both locations are identified by signage including the KultureCity and Sunflower logos.

Marvel Stadium's Kids Zones feature children’s equipment and activities to make young peoples’ visit to the Stadium more enjoyable.

Both Multi-Faith Prayer Rooms offer a quiet space for prayer or other religious observations during events, and include prayer mats for room-use. Locations:

• Level 1: Aisle 3
• Level 3: Aisle 17

Prams and strollers are permitted into the venue, provided they are stowed under your seat.

Patrons with prams or strollers on Level 3 may park their empty pram or stroller behind the accessible seating at Aisles 6, 19, 30 & 43, if space permits. 

Prams and strollers may be cloaked free-of-charge at Guest Services, located:

• Gate 1 Guest Services: Level 1, Aisle 3
• Gate 5 Guest Services: Level 1, Aisle 36

Please be advised that pass outs are not issued at Marvel Stadium.

Should patrons wish to leave the venue, it is a requirement to scan out using the ticket used for entry. Upon re-entry, patrons are required to re-scan in at the gate listed on the ticket.

Sensory rooms include activity panels, bean bags, and seating benches. Complimentary sensory bags are available from all Accessibility Spaces and Gate 5 Guest Services for the event duration. Locations:

Marvel Stadium is a smoke and vape free venue. Patrons who wish to smoke or vape are required to scan their ticket out and proceed to the smoking areas outside the Stadium.

For the comfort and safety of all patrons, smoking and/or vaping is banned within the Stadium and 4m from each Stadium entry point. Liquor licencing prohibits patrons from taking alcohol out of the Stadium when they leave to smoke and/or vape.

Standing Room tickets may be available when General Admission ticket allocations are exhausted. Standing Room is located on Level 1 on the internal concourse, behind the Level 1 seating bowl.
