It has been a very exciting time on site in the lead up to Round 1 of the 2022 AFL season. Works are significantly underway at Gate 5, with 80% of piling complete. Demolition of the façade at Gates 3 & 5 has commenced and internal demolition is nearing completion.
Several major features of stadium upgrades works are now complete, including thematic lighting, sports lighting and two new video boards which were on full display for the 18th March St Kilda v Collingwood season opener at the stadium. These upgrades contribute greatly to enhancing the overall fan experience.
You may also notice changes on the pedestrian concourse following the removal of the ticketing box office outside Gate 1 and the installation of hoarding which showcases images of the final design. The new guest services and ticketing office are located within the tenancies directly below Quest Apartments on the concourse, opposite Gate 1.
